Eeesh... I didn't like this book much at all... The 3 main characters are all sharing a flat... I have shared flats & the environments were nothing like the self-absorbed, selfish environment these chicks inhabit - friends or no, I would have moved out after the first week... No one washes, clothes or dishes... everyone takes liberties with possessions which belong to others... they're all man obsessed... with friends like these... Arghhh!!! just call me the female equivalent of Victor Meldrew, but if this is the standard state of the modern woman woe betide humanity!

Hopefully this book will find a more appreciative audience. I'll release it soon.

Well it did not make it to the Edinburgh Castle meet as I spotted the release notes and bagsy'd it first, received a week later at Porterhouse Trivia - thanks for coming servalan, we would not have done v well in the last round without you.

My s-i-l and myself like Chris Manby books so she can have it first: over to mandyjoy.

PS hrmmm self-centred men-grabbing chicks for escapism? not 'alf!

I enjoyed the book as a nice bit of escapism. I don't agree with the comment about the Niagara Falls, though.

Journal Entry 13 by Helen360 from Little River, Canterbury New Zealand on Sunday, June 15, 2008
I found the book upside down on a walk by the Avon River (on River Road to be exact) I thought it was an Indian curry and turned it over with my foot to reveal a book! I finished the book last night, I enjoyed it in a funny sort of way. It was a bit too modern for me. I am 51 years old, so reading about women in their mid twenties seemed a bit like voyeurism to me, I'm also not a great novel reader. But in so saying it was a real thrill finding it and reading it, I thought the book must have some sort of personal message in it for me, and I think it came very near the end. I'm interested where it's come from and how long it has been out and about.
