Collaborative Journal 42 Things
7 journalers for this copy...
And again I've come up with an idea for a journal. This time the goal is to make a list of 42 things. You can even chose the topic for yourself!
Here are some examples:
- 42 things I'd like to do before I die/before I turn 50
- 42 things I like about my hometown/country/husband/wife/whatever
- 42 things I would change if I were in charge
- 42 things I learned in school/from my kids/from my favorite books
- 42 books I think everybody should read
- 42 favorite quotes
Or basically anything else you can come up with. Sounds like fun? Then join up. Just PM me and I'll put you on the list.

back to me.
Of course, as with everything in life, there are certain RULES to this bookring (naturally I have no way to enforce them, so really they are rather recommendations). Naturally they are not written in stone, but merely exist out of courtesy to your fellow participants:
1. Please journal the book when you receive it so that we all know it arrived safely. The same goes for when you mail it out to the next person.
2. You need to send the book to the person that appears below you in the participants' list. Please PM them well in advance to get their address details (and it might be a good idea to let them know that they should start thinking about their own lists already).
3. Please try to keep the journal for not more than 4 weeks, before you send it on. Especially the people way down on the list will appreciate it if this ring keeps moving at a steady pace. If you already know that you will have no time to make your entry soon, just PM me so I can move you further down the list.
4. Please PM me, if you have any questions or problems with the journal (if you can't contact the next person or something). I'm always happy to help.

Caught in the mail today.
Thank you samulli for this great journal! This will be fun!

I have now added my 2 lists (it was a lot harder than I thought it would be :-)) and the journal is ready to continue its journey. As annodyne has asked to be skipped, I will send it to booknhands tomorrow.
To those who will try to decipher my lists, I apologise for my handwriting which is really horrible because my hands are affected by a rheumatic disease. However I didn´t like the idea of including PC printouts, so you´ll have to live with that ;-)
Looking forward to all of your lists!

Received this a few days ago and have already thought of the topics of my list :)
One of my lists is already complete - just need to transfer it to the journal. The second list is in the works.
I should be finished with this in a week or so.
Thanks for the creative idea :)

Ok so the holidays took over and I didn't get to this journal as soon as I said I would.
I am in the process of adding my lists and have already contacted stagecrafty for an address.
The lists already in the book are great! I loved the list of "Things That Really Matter". It was a great reminder of how to live life and appreciate all the things and opportunities we have been given.
I hope to have this journal moving within the week - it will all depend on how quickly I get stagecrafty's address.

Finally, finally, finally this book is on its way.
I am sorry for having it for so long. My lists have been done for over a month now - I just couldn't get it out the door like I planned.
It was taken directly to the post office with postage already on it today - so hopefully it will travel fast.
Thanks for including me :)

What a nice surprise in my mailbox this evening. I'm trying not to read the other lists until after I decide on what mine will be. While I have quite a few other rings in house, this is one I can work on concurrently, so it shouldn't be here too long.
I'm off to contemplate my lists, which sounded much easier before I was actually holding the journal. :D

My apologies for holding onto this journal for so long, but I have discovered I really suck when it comes to making lists like this. I finally finished and have it packaged to put into the mail in the morning.
I have froggirlwendy's address and if I can afford it I'll post it airmail.
Thanks to samulli for including me. And to all, my apologies for holding onto to this book for so long.

Arrived today :o) Thanks macewoman for sending it safely to me & samulli for adding me to the journal list. I can't wait to read the entries and add my own. Hugs :o)

Wow, this was fun :o) I didn't realise that making lists would be this difficult, since I practically live by lists. I am finally finished and ready to send this journal travelling all the way to Perth, where freesia is at the moment. Thanks sammuli for including me. Hugs & happy journalling :o)

This arrived safe and sound - many thanks! What interesting lists the previous writers have included - this is a work of art, it really is, and is best appreciated with a hot chocolate and a cupcake. Now I need to think carefully about how I'm going to follow on from you all!
