Synopsis
Stephanie Plum, the bombshell bounty hunter from New Jersey, already has problems. Her relationship with Joe Morelli is so complicated it's now over. Plus, her attractive, if terrifying, mentor and tormentor Ranger has decided he's ready to collect his reward. But when Steph's mother and Grandma gang up to insist she finds their neighbour's missing granddaughter Evelyn and her child Annie, Steph can't refuse. Mabel Markowitz signed a custody bond guaranteeing Annie would stay in Trenton after her parents' divorce. Now Evelyn and Annie have vanished, Mabel will lose her house to True Blue Bail Bonds Agency. But following their trail is not simple. Where have they gone? And why is a giant rabbit stalking Steph?

Journal Entry 5 by Vespa from Weymouth, Dorset United Kingdom on Saturday, April 15, 2006
Yikes the sexual tension between Ranger and Stephanie hots up!! There are more bad guys including a six foot rabbit, and of course loads of laughs. Thoroughly enjoyable as usual ....thanks for sharing.
I will get it in the post to Jedsmom early next week

Journal Entry 6 by jedsmom from Newport, Wales United Kingdom on Friday, April 21, 2006

Things are definately getting steamier between Ranger and Steph. I found myself giggling many a time. On its way to purplerosebud.

Journal Entry 8 by purplerosebud from Petersfield, Hampshire United Kingdom on Wednesday, April 26, 2006
Arrived today with delicious choccy bar. Just needed that, munch munch!! This will be going in my TBR pile until the earlier books in the series turn up.

Journal Entry 9 by purplerosebud from Petersfield, Hampshire United Kingdom on Friday, January 5, 2007
What a great read! They just get better and better. Now the Steph/Morelli/Ranger relationship gets all mixed up. Can't wait to read number '9'.

Going to Tiggerboing next. Sorry it's been so long moving on.

Journal Entry 10 by tiggerboing from Waterlooville, Hampshire United Kingdom on Friday, March 30, 2007
Sorry this book has been so long with us. Life's been getting in the way of reading but it's ready to move on now.

Going on to Yowlyy as sunflowergirl has her own copy now.

Journal Entry 11 by YowlYY on Wednesday, April 4, 2007
Just arrived! I have a book and a half to read before I can get to it, but I surely will be fast, as I cannot wait what's going to happen this time to Stephanie and Grandma Mazur (not to talk about the complicated love life!):)

Journal Entry 12 by YowlYY on Thursday, April 26, 2007
Although this storyline wasn't as good as the two previous ones, the humour is still there and there are many funny situations, often created by Grandma Mazur or caused by her presence. She's the best!
And what is that with Steph and Ranger?!?! I certainly don't want to give up reading these stories...they are just the right light material much needed in between heavier reads...or after a hard day at work!
Roll On No.9...I hope it is not lost :(

Now on another note... what to do with this book? I have PMed the raymaster, the lovely MrsDanvers, and shall wait for her advice. In the meantime, the book will be resting in the East Midlands.

Update on 28.04.07: MrsDanvers gave her blessing to wild release, pass on the book or extend the ray. I shall try with the latter first.

Journal Entry 14 by Gembear from Melbourne CBD, Victoria Australia on Thursday, May 10, 2007
Thank you for sending the book. I'm gonna curl up with it this weekend and forget about all my troubles for a while.

I do so enjoy Granny Mazur and Rex as characters!

Journal Entry 15 by Gembear from Melbourne CBD, Victoria Australia on Wednesday, May 23, 2007
What a super read! I cracked up with Granny Mazur's antics again and the whole handcuff debacle was hilarious! I think Ranger should have stuck with the 'I could but then I'd have to kill you' routine instead of becoming an opportunist though, attraction is more entertaining. I did, however, love that being associated with Stephanie led to someone else's car being blown up. If only it had been Morelli's or another cops, now that would have been justice!

Hugely entertaining, a good distraction from what life is dishing out at the moment. I look forward to reading more Bounty Hunter mayhem! I'm off to Jolanda now!

Journal Entry 16 by Jolanda from Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland Netherlands on Thursday, June 21, 2007
Received the book yesterday, the postman delivered it at my neighbours last Saturday and only had the chance to give it to me wednesday evening. :) I'm looking forward to the read.

August 24, 2007:
An enjoyable read, took some evenings to finish it.
the book is on its way to Tanamo

Journal Entry 17 by Tanamo from Hinckley, Leicestershire United Kingdom on Thursday, August 30, 2007
Received in the mail today. I'm trying to read the books in order and have only read the first one. I've got High Five on the TBR pile but don't have any of the others yet. I think it will be a while before I get to read this.

Journal Entry 18 by Tanamo from Hinckley, Leicestershire United Kingdom on Tuesday, January 15, 2008
Well I finally got up to book eight and, like all the others, I loved it. Even Stephanie's mum and sister end up getting involved this time proving once again that the female is deadlier than the male. I'll pm eloisamos for an address so I can get this book on it's way.

Journal Entry 19 by Tanamo from Hinckley, Leicestershire United Kingdom on Sunday, January 20, 2008
No reply from eloisamos so have sent another pm in case the first one didn't work.

Journal Entry 20 by Tanamo from Hinckley, Leicestershire United Kingdom on Wednesday, January 23, 2008
Still no reply from Eloisamos so I tried to find the next person on the list JerrriLynnL so I could pm her but I can't find a shelf for her???

Journal Entry 21 by Tanamo from Hinckley, Leicestershire United Kingdom on Monday, January 28, 2008
Have just received a pm from Eloisamos asking to be skipped from the list but I still can't find a shelf for JerrilynnL so I'm going to pm YowlYY to see what she would like me to do.

Journal Entry 22 by Tanamo from Hinckley, Leicestershire United Kingdom on Monday, February 11, 2008
Having got the correct bookcrossing name from Yowll I've sent two pms to JerrilynL and got no reply so now I'm going to move on to the next person and pm Niksu.

Journal Entry 23 by Tanamo from Hinckley, Leicestershire United Kingdom on Monday, February 11, 2008
Got a quick reply to my pm to Niksu and so have mailed the book off to her today.

Journal Entry 24 by Niksu from Helsinki, Uusimaa / Nyland Finland on Monday, February 18, 2008
Hardback Hard Eight is here. Thanks Tanamo for quick sending! I just finished Hot Six, Seven Up is waiting on the self so after that, I'll read this one.

Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention there is some loose pages but I try to be careful not to damage it more.

Journal Entry 25 by Niksu from Helsinki, Uusimaa / Nyland Finland on Wednesday, February 27, 2008
Oh wow, Ranger!

This wasn't as good as sixth and seventh in this series but still a good read. I'm lucky to have books nine and ten waiting. I think the more I read these the more I like.

Thanks YowlYY for sharing! It was nice that you asked me to join this ray. I have already PM'd to celticstar couple of days ago and waiting for her reply.

Edit 3.3: Send another Pm to celticstar.

Journal Entry 26 by Niksu from Helsinki, Uusimaa / Nyland Finland on Tuesday, March 4, 2008
I got PM from celticstar and she has asked to be skipped. She was last participant in this ray which means I'm now the last one. Yowlyy, you have any plans for this book? Or shall I continue this books travels the way I please?

**I've got Yowlyys blessing to continue books travels the way I want. This is now reserved to our 3rd Finnish National BookCrossing MeetUp in June 2008, which is held in Suomenlinna fortress.
