Ooohhh I absolutely loved this book! I haven't seen the film yet but can't wait to see it! And what would be more appropriate than to make this book about traveling pants a traveling book ;) So I'm making a BookRing out of this.

What a great book :) I thoroughly enjoyed this one. When I picked it up, I thought it was going to be fluffy and nonsensical but I'm glad I tried. It is an utterly lovely book and full of warmth and emotion. I want a pair of Travelling Pants!!!

Got to say, I'm just not feeling this book, I'm half way through, can already tell whats going to happen, and I really don't care what happens to the girls!

Just today I sent a pm to michelle1977 to tell that the book hasn't arrived yet and when I got home from work, there it was! Kiitos safrolistics!
I have another bookring before this, but I should be getting to this shortly. Especially since this looks like the kind of light reading I need at the moment :)

Well, this was a quick read and just what I needed at the moment. I just started glancing this last night (I'm in the middle of another book) and ended up reading the whole book. I just wish I had gotten more sleep... I liked this a lot. I wanted to read this because I want to see the movie (there's Alexis Bledel from the Gilmore Girls in it) and I don't like to see the movie before I've read the book. I was expecting this to be a sort of chick lit, but I liked that the book revolved around the friendship and lives of the girls and not their relationships with boys (at least there was other stuff as well). I liked the quotes in the beginning of each chapter. I really want to read next one of the series as well, although I've promised myself not to join any more rings or rays, so I guess I have to visit the book store...

I have to say that usually I don´t read this genre, but sometimes it just fun to relax with a book like this.And this was a really nice book. Nothing profound in it but several nice quotes.I was reminded of my own old school friends which is always a good thing.
I certainly would like to have those magical pants for a week or two to make me feel better in my body and in my life too. I really did have a good time while reading this.You don´t need all that "high" literature like Russian classics. I could even consider watching the movie as there were all those photos. Hmh, there goes my reputation as a serious reader ;)
The traveling book will continue its journey to Portugal next week.Have fun, Frangipani04.

This is a strange journal entry. I'm writing to say the book has arrived and that... I've read it!! The book arrived last week, but during the weekend I didn't have Internet access. So I took the book, read a few pages and in a few hours it was done!
As aava said, this is not the typical book that I like to read. But sometimes it just feels good to read something light and easy. As I am in a totally stressed out period of my life, this book came to my hands in a perfect timing! It allowed to me to relax a bit with simple book, but it also reminded me of the value of frienship. Specially of those old friends that are always there for us. And it also reminded me of how good summer holidays are and how desesperate I am to have them!!!
The book will be sent to Amberkatze as soon as I have the address!

Wow! Today was bookday! I got 5 books in the post today and 3 of them were rings! I think I will start this book later though as it looks like it is a nice easy read and I am in the mood for something like that!

Well this was a quick and easy read. I really needed something like this at the moment though so it was good in that sense. As a story it is nice, sweet and interesting enough. However it is a teenage book and therefore imho seemed to lack alot of detail. I also found it hard to remember that these girls were girls aged 15 going on to 16. I guess I am just getting too old :)
Anyway I like the book in general and I am glad I had the chance to read it. I also have someone sending me the second part which I am sure I will also like. However I won't be rushing out to see the movie but it was nice to see the pics from the film in the middle of the book.

Having read all the previous reviews I am now not at all sure if I am really going to enjoy this title? It certainly does not sound like my normal choice, still lets wait and see. Another book to read as well as one currently reading before I start this, but it will not be long.

Sorry but I have decided that this title is just not for me! I did try but after 30 pages I was wondering why I was wasting my time. This is a book for teenagers and I am far from that. Apologies to Michelle1977 and Amberkatze. I must be more careful in future what bookrings I sign up for!
