Book Description:
George Orwell's Animal Farm is still a widely read satire of Stalinism. The novel, which was rejected several times before its publication in 1945, is the focus of Bloom's Notes. Bookring Guidelines
*When you receive the book, please make a journal entry. This way we know that it has arrived safe and sound.
*Please PM the next person on the list for confirmation of their mailing address as soon as you can. This makes sure they haven't moved or gone on an extended vacation, and reduces the chances of the book getting lost in the mail.
*Please try to finish the book within a reasonable amount of time. This will allow us to keep the bookring moving, and avoid having it getting placed on a "to be read" pile for an undetermined amount of time. Also, if you don't like it, don't feel obligated to finish it before sending it on its way.

Caught in my box when I got home from work yesterday. I'd say by the looks of it that I may have it off to the next person by the end of the week! We'll see how much time I have for just sitting. Thanks, aliciayoung!

Finished! There was times that this book really made me chuckle. It's a very quick read, but there is a lot packed into those hundred-and-twenty-some pages. I really enjoyed it quite a lot. It's not the kind of satire where you really need to know what the author is commenting on, because it would still make sense out of context, but it just gives it a little more meaning if you do know.

At any rate, I've PM'd -psyche- for an address and will have it in the mail as soon as I hear something.

Update 6/30 - Sent to -psyche- in the mail today!
