Sent out to Flutterbies9 as a RABCK today - enjoy!
Received as RABCK from spiderchic and only just got around to adding entry. Sorry for the delay.
On 'to be read' pile but as I know someone else who wishes to read this, I'll get around to it sooner rather than later!!

I started to read this and suddenly found it was finished!! These were lovely short stories. The shortest ones mostly raced along to a good ending - and it was generally easy to see why they were not worked into a full length book, some delightful vignettes which would have been lost in the main story. The longer ones were relaxing into the well kent Ian Rankin style just in time to end on a neat and tidy twist. Altogether a very enjoyable read and ideal to get someone started on this author, or for those with a shortage of time for reading whole books (and I'm told there seems to be many of those around ~ unknown concept in my family and close circle though).
Although I fully intend to send this on to rainbow3 in Edinburgh, I'll just see if my DH wants to read this first (so could be a short journey to the other side of the bedroom before the Post Office takes charge).
