Wow. What an experience; both the reading of the book and the story itself. Beautiful, painful, hopeful. Frey's style reminds me a bit of Cormac McCarthy, almost like poetry. This book was loaned to me by a friend and when I returned it, she told me to pass it on to someone else... we both agreed this book just needs to keep going from reader to reader. And the next day I learned about Book Crossing... talk about karmic. I am eager to send this book out into the world. Thanks, AB (and TR!).

Oh, I'm so excited! I went hunting for the book, and I looked and looked, and it wasn't there. I figured someone had beat me to it, and I was so disappointed. But then I get an email from the book's owner saying she had missed the original drop and would be releasing it later that day. I was thrilled when I got up to Pioneer Park and there it was, sitting right on the bench where I hoped it would be. I danced all the way home, because I'm a complete book dork, and this made me very happy. I cannot wait to read "Pieces," and will start it as soon as I'm done with "Devil in the White City," which I am currently engrossed in.

Thank you Book Crossing! I love this place! :)

Wow. Seriously, I can't believe that people go through things like this. Most of this book reads like pure fiction, and it's tough to remember that this is his memoir and it all really happened. Highly recommended.
