Wow!... It’s all I can think if saying after so many pages of information. This book took me several months to go through, in part because I read it in between bookrings that kept arriving, but mostly because I wanted to read it slowly, to learn all I could from the book. I don’t have a strong science background, so almost everything was new to me. I learned a lot and I definitely want to read this book again in a couple of years. The main upshot, for me, is that we know so little about the world we live in… There is an incredible challenge in all the questions still out there to be answered.
I also loved the author’s writing style and look forward to read more from him. Though it is ultimately a science book, it made me laugh and smile more than some humour books, at some points.
What I liked less was the organisation of the book itself. First, whereas in a novel you turn page after page to see what happens next, in this book we don’t have that kind of pressure, so we keep reading slowly, without knowing where we’re headed to. I missed an outline of the book right in the first chapter and maybe I would change the chapters order a bit. But then, it is already a remarkable achievement to gather and explain all the information contained in this book in such an interesting and capturing way.
This book will now travel to Elsita, as a loan. Enjoy it!

Já passou mais um ano e o livro continua na minha mesa de cabeceira, ainda a meio.
Está bem de saúde :) mas se precisares dele, é só pedires e eu devolvo-o!
