The book was much better than the film.

Finally managed to find the time to sit down with this book last night. I really enjoyed the read and found myself shuffling back and forth to the kitchen in search of chocolate treats..! (Good job I was reading this so close to Christmas!!)

A wish from my list. Saw the movie and wanted the multi-media input. Thanks for sharing it. I have two selections (from a three-in-one combo bookring) that need to be finished before I delve into this book. Lucky for me I have a cross-country flight from DC to CA this Saturday. Should be able to fit lots of reading in while I am a captive audience.
Delicious, juicy, and addictive..just like chocolate. I think I could apppreciate the movie even more having read the book. The lyrical style made the characters believable and integrated well with the visuals for the movie. Thanks for sharing.

What a delightful book. I enjoyed the movie; this adds layers of richness & delight. Deeply satisfying. And how lovely to read it right at Ostara time! I believe I will add some very good chocolate truffles to my Monday night celebration! Will be buying my own copy to share with my daughter, but ready to send this one on.
