A magical book that grasped me within the first page. I conjures up the most enchanting images of lost lives, fate and love. All the jearnings of a human being contained in the pages of this book and beyond.

RELEASE NOTES:
By pure chance I looked at the go hunting section of the website this morning and found there was a book released just three days ago very close to the gym I use. So at lunchtime I went off to find said book before going to my pilates class and there it was in pride of place on the arm of a sofa in this lovely furniture shop. I had a chat with the guy in the shop about bookcrossing and hopefully he will log on and join up too. Thanks VanDuuren for the book, Iām looking forward to reading it ā coincidentally I finished Angelaās Ashes this morning on the train so this is great cos I now have something interesting to start on my homeward journey.
Well I have to say wow.
I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy this book but I've been reading a lot of books recently that are far from my usual choice and this was an amazing book. I was totally gripped right from the start and have just finished it after reading for three hours - I couldn't bear to leave it unfinished.
A magical tale that twists, turns and unfurls.

In the mail to laura0141 as a trade for The Knitting Way when she finishes it. Hope you enjoy this....
The beginning of this book is fantastic but, sadly, IĀ“m struggling with the bit in the middle. I donĀ“t find the main characterĀ“s actions have me muttering in disbelief. I think part of the problem IĀ“m having with it is that the beginning was Ā·soĀ· good and now it just canĀ“t live up to expectations. IĀ“m resolved to try and read 45 minutes of it a day in the hope that I do actually make it to the end. Surely something that started so very well might finish well also?
All I can say is that lifeĀ“s too short.
This book began brilliantly (and reminded me why I love reading so much) and IĀ“m PCing it because of that despite not finishing it. I found the characters unlikeable and was particularly irritated by Fermin - whose name I constantly mis-read as Ā“verminĀ“.
The Not So Secret Easter Bunny brought me a lovely new copy of this book so this copy is now available to release
Reserved for garibaldisghost. PMed for addy.
On way to garibaldisghost
Received today from laura0140 - thanks very much!!
I would say this is a good book but can't bring myself to say that it's a brilliant book. Perhaps it's because it's different to the usual stuff I read or perhaps it loses something in translation.
Nonetheless I'm glad I read it and was sort of pleased with the (eventual) happyish ending as it seemed much longer than 510 pages!
It is now off on its way to queenfrog in Pugwash, Canada.
