From the cover and description, I expected a book along the lines of Tami Hoag. It's more like Janet Evanovich, good, but fluffy.
The ending was weak. I didn't see enough foreshadowing for the conclusion. The dialogue is good though. I'm a writer too, and I like seeing dialogue that works so well.
