Its the future - the year 2100 - and London has grown to giant proportions. Skyscrapers tower all around. Great wind wheels revolve slowly above the city. Broadcasting and television are the method of communication, for there are no longer any books. It is to these startling advances that Graham wakes from his trance, startling because he has been asleep for more than two hundred years, since the year 1897.

This made for quite a quick read, and is as engaging as HG Wells always is. An interesting insight into today if it were run by the corporations, written well before the Wright brothers did their thing.
