From amazon:
"The ballerina Violette Lenoir has fallen victim to the bite of the vampire Charlotte. Her fire and energy have fuelled a terrifying change and lead her to a dreadful realisation--she has become Lilith, the demon mother of all vampires.
Haunted both by what she has done and Violette's dark sensuality, Charlotte and her immortal lover Karl are drawn towards Violette and the terrible destiny that has fallen on her shoulders.
But other, far more dangerous shadows are gathering around Violette, including the vampire Sebastian, terrified by the havoc Violette could wreak to his plans to bring all of mankind underneath his dark wing."

It's been a very long time since I read this book... But it must've been good! ;-) I think I'll re-read it, if I get a chance... You know... Mount TBR being rather tall and all... ;-)

Journal Entry 4 by CheriePie from Campbell, California USA on Tuesday, September 5, 2006
Received this in a package of 3 books from woosang on Friday. (I didn't have time to journal it then as I was getting ready to go away for the weekend.) Since this book is going back home to woosang after me, I'll give it a touch less preference, with ring books with others getting priority. I'd also like to get my copy of Staying Dead by Laura Anne Gilman read soon and send it back to woosang along with this and Night Fires.

UPDATE 9/3/07: Fortunately, woosang said I could keep this, so it's being relgated to non-ring status (less stress since I have so many), but I'm keeping it Reserved because I believe that NeedSun still wants to read it after me. So it'll stay somewhat near the top of Mt. TBR, and be read at a time when an 800-page book with small print doesn't seem so daunting! :o And then RABCK'ed to NeedSun after. :)
