I don't know what's up, but the last few books that have arrived here have been just brutalized by the post office. The book arrived in yesterday's mail with the address and a few shreds of the envelope attached with a rubber band. That being said, the book itself really wasn't damaged at all!

This looks like a fun read; I'll get started right away.

I had not heard about this author, but I have gathered since I read this book that she is a popular author of children's fiction. I enjoyed this book but thought it was a shame the main characters weren't more thoroughly developed. The premise and the journey were fun and I think I will look for other books by this author.

This arrived today - I'm actually quite impressed with how quickly the USPS got it to me.

I recently read Inkspell by Cornelia Funke and really enjoyed it, so I'm definitely looking forward to reading this one. I have to finish my current book and then I'll get right on this!

I enjoyed this book immensley. It was well-written with good characters and a strong plot, and it was entertaining enough to amuse both adults and children. I definitely want to read other books by this author.
