There's a restaurant in Reykjavik called Jonathan Livingston Seagull, which I always thought was a curious name. I had no idea it was a book till I found this recently in a charity shop.
This is one of those spiritual books that I don't like much - or maybe don't get. A seagull shows us that you can do anything you set your mind to. Still, I enjoyed the pictures of birds in flight.

I loved this - really made me think......maybe at certian times in your life it is more poignant than others....it is so much more than just a story about a seagull....(living 10 mins alk form sea toio It was nice it was a seagull - I often think of this book now when I see them flying here!

A fairly basic story of going for what you want instead of what's expected with some pretty good photographs to accompany it. But beyond that? Not at all sure why it made the BBC's Big Read 200, but it's another one crossed off.
