Journal Entry 1 by silky-reading from Tonbridge, Kent United Kingdom on Tuesday, November 01, 2005
Having laughed all the way through Round Ireland With A Fridge this book had a lot to live up to and more than matched its predecessor! A fantastically funny read - made me chuckle out loud on the train! Wholly recommended and much better than the later One Hit Wonderland. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Journal Entry 3 by Rillaith from Wokingham, Berkshire United Kingdom on Tuesday, November 01, 2005
First catch from the wild for me - last time was at a Flash Mob where *everyone* was crossing books. I'd forgotten about the site, to be honest, until I commented to a friend that I'd finished my commuting book on the way into work, and had a lunch hour and commute home now lacking in reading material - and that I didn't want to pop in and buy something new, as I've got 3 shelves of such pristine waifs and strays waiting to be read as it is. They suggested BookCrossing, not realising I'd had an account longer than they! I'd signed up to release alerts near my office, and just before lunch, received one for a Starbucks just down the road. So, I headed there as soon as lunch hour came along, and surreptitiously started looking out for a lonely paperback. I spotted something alongside an old banker type reading his FT, close enough that it could have been his, yet far enough to his side that it was possible... and yes, indeed, he said it had been there when he sat down. Marvellous! I tucked it into my bag like I'd walked out earlier in the day having forgotten it, and slipped out of the cafe before anyone could shout "Hey, Stop! Thief!" I've spent the rest of my lunch hour making inroads on it, and can quite happily already say that I'm glad I'm reading it. Update: I'm now nearly finished reading this one, and have to say, it's brilliant. I've had genuine from-the-heart smiles mid-commute and I've chuckled out loud at parts. I'm going to finish it at lunchtime and release it to find a new friend. Marvellous!
