Journal Entry 1 by Kyrissaean from Littleton, New Hampshire USA on Monday, October 31, 2005
This was cute! Fluffy, but not quite as fluffy as it sounds from the description. This is the first book in the Cajun series. Book Description: What if a chemist invented a real love potion? What if the elixir were put in jelly beans? What if a man...the wrong man...ate the jelly beans? Dr. Sylvie Fontaine...chemist extraordinaire. Lucien LeDeux..."The Swamp Solicitor," aka "Bay Boy of the Bayou." Holy Crawfish! The South might indeed rise again... If the rebels could just stop laughing.

Journal Entry 3 by urrican from Baton Rouge, Louisiana USA on Saturday, October 21, 2006
Terrific book!!! I received it through PaperBack Swap, and it will be added to my collection of Louisiana mysteries. This is the first of four in Sandra Hill's Cajun Bad Boy series, the second one I've read. Each features the love story of one of the LeDeux clan, amist their attempts to protect the bayou from the oil & gas industry, real estate development, the effects of the levees, etc.
