"Annie O'Harran is the wrong side of thirty. A harassed single mother, she's escaped her faithless first husband and, against all expectations, met her hero. Now, she has a blissful summer ahead to plan their wedding. First, however, she must escape constant interruptions to meet the urgent deadline on her novel. But no sooner has she arrived at a fabulous writer's retreat in Cornwall than the doorbell starts ringing...Just as long as none of the visitors affects her big day at the end of the summer..."
I must confess I didn't like the last book I read by this author so I think I will offer this one up as a bookray.

Posted to laura0141 today.
Apologies for my delay in journalling this book - I've not been very well.
It got here safely and is sitting at about number 5 on Mt TBR.

On way to LindyLouMac (surface)
Somehow I think laura0141 could have kept this and read it when she felt better and it would have still been with me around now! Maybe you could ask raeliz64 to put you back on the list? Will do my best not to hold ring up too long, number 2 on my TBR pile.
Cold weather means I have done a lot of reading recently and this quickly reached the top of TBR mountain and I have finshed it already.
I think that Catherine Alliot is one of the better writers of the genre known as 'chick lit'. This title certainly had more than enough twists and turns to make it an enjoyable read. My only gripe is the title, not a perfect choice in my opinion, do not let it put you off reading it, as titles sometimes can! I have now read all this authors books except A Married Man, so if anyone has a copy I could borrow??
Meanwhile will be on its way to nikel27 as soon as I get their address.
Thanks to Raeliz64 for starting this bookray.

It's funny that I just completed 'The Wedding Day' and now moved on to 'Good in Bed' hahaha! Tips to help me at my own wedding this June :-)
My first Catherine Alliot. She's OK. Reminded me a bit of Fiona Walker (whose only book I have read is French Relations and I disliked it a lot) But shes a bit better than Fiona Walker, less of the fluff and more story to hold on to.
Not an author I will actively look for again, but it's not a bad read if you want something light to get your mind off work and pre-wedding stress!
I have Snowy652's address so this should be on its way this weekend.
Thank you Raeliz for the book ring and Nikel for passing it on
