The anti-inflation cookbook-over 200 recipes that turn budget foods into gourmet wonders. This book is a paperback from 1973. The recipes in it look pretty good, but there are no pictures! :(

Received from DreamSE22 as part of a bookrelay. I took a quick peek at it and have found some surprisingly gourmet sounding recipes included in a book on cheap cooking. Should prove interesting.

A really nice selection of "gourmet" (instead of chicken suprise) recipes for the cook who wants to spend a little less. I don't agree with the word "cheap" in the title because some ingredients aren't cheap in my opinion and many recipes use a large number of ingredients that only count as cheap if you use them all up in other recipes.
