I enjoyed this one more than The Reading Group. I really cared about the characters. Thanks Wendy!

I got this in the mail last week and didn't expect to be reading it soon, because I had a ring in front of it. But I started reading and couldn't stop. I really liked this book and loved the characters. Probably because of some things going on in my life right now, I cried a few times. Especially some of the parts with Freddie and her son. I can relate so much. I have a little boy who's not so little any more, in fact I think he's probably Harry's age. I liked the line where she said, I wish more parents could see that sometimes doing the best thing for themselves is also the best thing for their children. I know that's not always the case, but when a parent is in a situation where they are not happy, that cannot help but affect their children.
Anyway, I have PMed onefinetabby, so The Friendship Test should be on it's way soon. I haven't read The Reading Group yet, but probably will be soon. I hope she writes more!! Thanks for starting the ring 4everLostInBook! What a good book for a first ring!

I have not read the Noble's The Reading Group,so I have nothing to compare it to. I found myself wondering what Freddie was going to do,and couldn't wait to find out. Not having had those kind of friendships in my life,I was interested to see how they all related to each other.

I will PMBookwormJudy IL right now and see if she's ready.

4everLostInBook,I'd say your first bookring was a great success! Congrats and thank you.
