Adventures of a Joe Boy - Volume 1

Oh dear. So disappointed when I realised I was supposed to be laughing with the lame jokes, not at them! Well, at least it gave the "artist" an opportunity to practice drawing abs and pecs. (I can see why my friend was so reluctant to register this book himself....)

Not quite sure what to do with this, but picked it up last night at the London meet. Might pass it on to UrbanSpaceman when we next meet, as he quite likes graphic novels as a genre, but not sure he'll appreciate the subject matter!!!!
Passed on to me at the Kingston Meetup tonight. Not my usual genre, to be sure, but no matter - I'll give it a whirl.
I read this in the small hours of last night when I couldn't sleep. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt because I've got some quasi-flu thing at the moment, but the only real point of interest was the (possibly apparent) insight it gave into the young US gay lifestyle. The stories were rather repetitive, the humour was fairly weak and I developed an aversion to the term "dude" while reading it. Oh yes, and there were quite a few spelling mistakes in it, too.

Picked it up at the bookcrossing meet-up last night (from the almighty UrbanSpaceman) and plan to hand it on to all the lovely gay men in my life :)
