I meant to do well by this book -- all 650 pages -- but I now realize that I'll never make room in my head for it. Mary is a fascinating subject and Fraser appears to do her justice; I guess I've already read enough about her for one lifetime.
No takers? That's a surprise, given the subject and the author. Looks as though Mary will be floating back into the world on her own.
