All of Mike Gayle's books remind me of Nick Hornby's book. I'm sure they get compared a lot.

I liked this one a lot, will definitely try to find Mike Gayle's other books. I agree with superchief, this reminded me of Nick Hornby's writing - very smooth and easy to read. Chick lit from a man's point of view...nice change and interesting perspective. A quick read.
