Quick read. The foibles of moving to a new country and putting down roots. funny, entertaining, reminds me of other books with same type of theme about different countries.

Looking forward to this author's experiences living in Spain - a country we've never visited! Received at our very cool meet-up this evening.
Thanks, booklover!
Thanks, booklover!
This is a really fun book in the vein of "Under the Tuscan Sun". As a great fan of Spain, I fantasize about doing exactly what this author has done... finding a "fixer upper" and experiencing a different life, at least for a while. Picked up this book at last night's BookCrossing meeting, and I've already read about half of it. Thanks, JDT, for thinking of me when you were ready to share this book.
2/19 - As expected, this book was a lot of fun, and really evokes the character of small town (pequeno pueblo?) Spain. A sheer delight. I have mailed the book to a friend who I met in Spain, and am certain that she will likewise enjoy it.
