Excellent book - unusual enough that it might not be some people's cup of tea, but the story is engrossing and kept me up late at night. I will never ride the underground again without wondering....

Aha! There it is. By the look of the box it came in, the book has had a bumpy ride - but it´s ok and I´m happy it decided to resurface *lol* I´ll get started on it right away.

This really is a great book. I´m so happy it didn´t get lost in the mail after all. It´s a very well-written book. The descriptions of the characters, places and emotions are very vivid, almost filmic. This is a very interesting tale of a very different side of London, and I´m definately going to go out and buy this book.

Sent off to Cloggy on Friday 28. April.

Got it this morning. Thanks Pelikanol & jamesmum for sharing. Perfect timing, I've just put 3 bookring books in the post this morning.

Thoroughly enjoyable read. Gaiman obviously had a lot of fun with the tube stop names - Earl's Court, Knightsbridge (or should I say Night's Bridge) and he used them inventively.
Nice way of turning the world upside down, the homeless knowing what is going on - the place for the people who have fallen through the cracks of society.

I've got Dark-Draco's addy and will try to get it in the post tomorrow

I've been wanting to read this ever since it was serialised on the TV - now I can. Will put it to top of TBR pile.

EXCELLENT! WONDERFUL! As brilliant as I thought it would be. I read it over three days and felt free to curse work for taking me away from it! Having seen and loved the TV serial, I couldn't get those characters out of my head, but that didn't detract from the story at all. I think I'm going to have to find my own copy so I can read it again and again.

Thank you for organising this bookring.

Good timing, Jamesmum! (or, um, maybe I kept the book too long...oops) It went into the mail this morning, actually, on it's way to Beloved49.

I got this just after receiving two other Gaiman books and found myself not quite in the mood for it. I held onto it for a little while thinking that maybe I'd have time for it. There were a few false starts getting an address to send it on. And then it got a bit overlooked in the holiday shuffle. Lots of excuses, in other words....though at least the dog didn't eat it! :)

I hope, someday, to get back to it and read more Gaiman, but for now I'm just glad to have passed it along! (finally!)

I do apologize for having kept it far longer than I should have. I hope that the next person/people enjoy it and that it concludes its travels safely.
