I read this last week~ a quick read, made sense even though I hadn't read the first in the series. Seemed to jump around a bit at times. Not the most sophisticated plotting, but enjoyable and appropriate for a teen audience as well. Saving for a bookbox.

Book Description

I've been a fan of this series since I first stumbled onto them as a pre-teen. So, I found it a nicce change of pace to revisit the world of Tortall, and Alana's last years as a squire on her way to knighthood.
