Another 'Rachel Morgan' book from Harrison.
This story carries on from the 1st (Dead Witch Walking), with Rachel, her room-mate and business partner, the living vamp Ivy, along with the 3rd business partner, Jinx the pixie, trying to bring down one of the oldest and dangerous undead kingpins of the Cincinnati shadow-world.
Things aren't made any easier by Jinx's touchy nature, or Ivy's constant inner-battle to stop herself drinking Rachel's blood, and being an apparently easy target in a deadly enviroment.

Great fun.

"YOU'LL LOVE THIS BOUNTY

HUNTER"

Charlaine Harris, Bestselling Author of DEAD TO THE WORLD.

"[Rachel Morgan's] a protaganist that blends the best qualities of Anita Blake and Stephanie Plum."
Jim Butcher, author of Death Masks

It's a tough life for witch Rachel Morgan, sexy, independant bounty hunter, prowling the darkest shadows of downtown Cincinnati for criminal creatures of the night.

She can handle the leather-clad vamps and even tangle with a cunning demon or two. But a serial killer who feeds on the experts in the most dangerous kind of black magic is definitely pressing the limits.

Confronting an ancient, implacable evil is more than just child's play - and this time, Rachel will be lucky to escape with her very soul.
