I heard there was a new Jennifer Weiner book, and I had to buy it. Although I didn't love In Her Shoes, I did love Good in Bed.

I read this book on the plane on my last business trip, thinking I'd release it when I got to New Jersey. However, it was so good and all about new moms that I thought I'd take it to my sis, who I know will enjoy it. She just had her 4th, so I brought it with me when I came to visit her and help with the new baby.

I'll write a journal entry on the book when I have time.

Update: this is a great book for young moms. It's also just a really good book. I think the author found a great balance in this one between serious and chick lit. Because I read it so long ago, I'm foggy on details, but I remember thinking that the characters were believable, and I loved how the relationships between the women were so supportive. Kind of Steel Magnolias-like. There's something very powerful in strong female relationships like this.

Antof9 brought me this book while visitng her 10th nephew! Looks interesting...I'll get to it...eventually...

All new moms should read this book. I loved each of the characters - especially Becky. I really appreciated how much marriage and two parent parenting was lifted up. I laughed out loud - multiple times. If I wasn't having to chase my own children - I'd write more! :)

I'm so glad my sis sent it to me.
