Journal Entry 15 by MissyZ from Clapham, Greater London United Kingdom on Thursday, November 24, 2005
I seem to have been having problems with BC PMs, so sorry for the delay! What a fabulous box! - really must be seen to be believed ;) I've just had a quick look through. Unfortunately there's not a huge number of books in there that I've not already read, but I will be taking out: Wyrd Sisters Fall of Moondust and replacing them with Four Hundred Billion Stars - Paul J McAuley A Fisherman of the Inland Sea - Ursula K le Guin Friday is my post day, so I'll be sending the box on tomorrow if I can get tutleymutley's address in time... The little 'extras' it's picking up along the way are great fun - I've added a few treats of the 'sweet' nature, and because my town doesn't have its own postcards I can send, I've put in a small pile of my handmade Christmas cards. :D

Clarke/Green Mars - Kim Stanley Robinson Four Hundred Billion Stars - Paul J McAuley (Probably would have had the Ursula LeGuin Short stories too but only two to put in). Also had some honey I shrunk the kids soap, pencil and bookplate. Put in Sheri S Teper: 'Grass' and Isaac Asimov: 'The Naked Sun' Have added some ladybirds and a couple of christmas cards with local scenes on for Celticstar to see where the box has been... Will post as soon as I get Suedo's address.

Can't fit Folk of the fringe in the box, so I'll pick a different one from my collection when i next go up to the loft. Also Auglaise has not responded so I'll try the wubbaducky instead. 29/12/05 Sending darwinia by robert charles wilson instead of folk of the fringe. No reply from Auglaise so will send on to Wubbaducky when I can get to a post office (lots of snow and more predicted) 3/1/6 Tried to post it to wubbaducky today but problem with the address, got home to find address for auglaise so going to send to her instead. I've let wubbaducky know so she should have it sorted by the time auglaise is ready to send it. Cheers Suedo

To everyone on this bookbox ring - I am so sorry. I've had this for ages, and it has just been sitting in my sitting room waiting for the company that agreed to hire me to finally do so and then for them to pay me. I'm very very sorry that I've held it up so long, but just wanted to let everyone know that I'm taking it to work with me on Monday and posting it. I'm sorry I held it up so long!

Journal Entry 24 by wubbaducky from not specified, not specified not specified on Thursday, March 30, 2006
Bookbox arrived today - what a fantastic box! I shall have a look through and try and find some books that will fit in the box as I have a feeling that the hardbacks that I was planning to put in aren't going to fit... Thanks! I'm a Libra... indecisive... Couldn't decide what to take out or put in and eventually took out seven from sheer indecisiveness... I would not be any good on Who Wants to be a Millionaire? I took out: The Naked Sun by Isaac Asimov Hitch Hiker's Guide, Life, The Universe and Everything and So Long, and Thanks for all the Fish by Douglas Adams Demon Seed by Dean Koontz (not my usual thing but it sounds intriguing) The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K. Dick (mainly because I liked the sound of the title) Replacing with seven: Foundation, Foundation and Empire and Second Foundation by Isaac Asimov 3 X files books Evolution Also took a ladybug and some soap but living in the back of beyond (well maybe not but sometimes it feels like it) don't have a town postcard, so put in some soap confetti. Also have gailcm's address so will post the box out tomorrow.
