From the back of the book:
The Woman in White (1859-60) is the greatest 'Sensation Novel'. Walter Hartright's mysterious encounter with a strange woman draws him into a vortex of crime, poison, kidnapping, & international intrigue.
The novel is dominated by two of the finest creations in all Victorian fiction - Marian Halcombe, dark, mannish, yet irresistibly fascinating, & Count Fosco, the sinister & flamboyant 'Napoleon of Crime'. A masterwork of intricate construction, The Woman in White set new standards for suspense & excitement, & achieved sales which topped even those of Dickens, Collins's friend & mentor.
Happy Reading!

I am a very bad bookcrosser! I managed to not journal receiving this book - sorry. It did arrive very safely a few weeks ago - it's next on the list to read. Thank you!
The book arrived 12/17/05 and I will get to it as soon as I am done with the on ring I am reading now.
I am unable to get to this book in time to read. Due to the holidays and everything I must get read for work and other items I am not going to have the time to get to this great book. I wish I could and sometime down the road when I have the time to put into this book as I want I hope to read it then even if I must go buy it. I will get this book out in the mail next week as soon as I get cocbarks address. It will be mailed by 1/6/06 at the latest. I just do not want to keep this book longer than needed so it can not keep moving sooner because I know I would not get to it before the months reading time. Thank You though for letting me at least scan through it.
Arrived safely last Friday. This is a big read. I think it will take me a while to get through.
