A set of postmodern stories from young Japanese novelist Yoshimoto, blending urban anomie with themes of spiritual awakening.
These six stories explore the themes of time, healing and fate, and how urban, sophisticated and independent young men and women come to terms with them.

Ok this book was a nice read, but nothing special. I liked 'Kitchen' better because it left some impressions and some deep thoughts on my mind. Lizard somehow couldn't. Perhaps it was because it's short stories. They all are of different quality and still it somehow didn't satisfy me.

Will send the book on to Libahunt

There was some wonderful telling and serene moments but overall it let me down a bit. I may have expected too much from it but still, it was nice to read because of the very moments I mentioned already.

Book has arrived today safe and sound but since I’m in the army I’m not sure when I’ll be able to start reading (already have few bookring books). Anyway I'll do my best.
