This is a beautiful little book, consisting of 2 stories (novella length, I'd say). In the afterword, she writes about how she came to write this book; one thing she says there is: "Growth and the overcoming of obstacles are inscribed on a person's soul." I think that pretty much sums up her books.

RELEASE NOTES:
These stories were great! SO not my normal "cup o' tea", but I really enjoyed this book! Glad I had a chance to read it, I will be passing this along quite soon.
Just received in the mail today. Thank you!
This was a beautiful little book, an exploration of how the soul deals with tragedy. I thought Kitchen was a wonderful novella, something you can read quickly, but you find yourself slowing down to savor the words and the mood.
I'm traveling for business over the weekend and into next week, so I am going to make my first (and possibly only-ever, who knows) releases abroad. Since this is a short volume, I'm taking this book with me to London and plan on releasing it there. I've no idea where I might release yet, so I'll post a note on that when I return.
