WOW!! I was really surprised that I loved this book as much as I did. Reason being is that I am a huge fan of 'The Gears' who also write a fictional series about Native American/Canadian history. I compare everyone to them as they are fab writers who are passionate and research their subjects thoroughly. But I am happy to find another writer who is just as good as my faves :) The journey of Kwani is never dull, and is a real page turner. I'm already reading the next book in the series because I can't wait to see what happens next on her journey...
