When Phyllis decides that retirement in Florida is not for her and moves back to the Big Apple her three grown-up children are horrified. They just can't let Phyllis ruin their lives all over again. Murder is out (for practical reasons), so they plan to marry Mom off to be someone else's problem.

I bought this from a second-hand bookstore because it was so cheap and because I liked The First Wives Club by the same author.

I have never really gotten to this book and the more I look on it on my shelf, the more I don't want to pick it up. Also the First Wives Club doesn't seem that good to me anymore, so I decided to let at least this one go. Release is coming in one way or another.

It was me who found the book but I forgot to log in before making a journal entry =)

Let's say....this book wasn't the worst I've ever read but it was far from the best. The plot wasn't bad but the end of the story was way too cheesy! I assume that the author tried to give a lesson "money doesn't count". Sorry, it didn't work out!

Well, I'll release this book soon and hopefully we can read other comments later on.
