PinkManager passed this on to me while at the Christmas BC meeting in Kapnikarea (btw, very glad to finally meet you, PinkManager). Still am at the very first pages of the book and Fallaci seems already as annoying as she can be! perhaps it's because I can't stop thinking what she has now become and how silly and dangerous opinions she keeps expressing nowadays.

All right, this is not my cup of tea, and although I hardly ever leave books half-read, I’ll proudly make an exception for this one. I’ve only managed to reach page 171 and it seems as if I’ve read about 1.000 pages of this merciless blah-blah. No courage to go further. I think it is the writing style that bothered me; sometimes it felt as if I was watching an action movie.

Δε δικαιούμαι φαντάζομαι να το βαθμολογήσω καθώς δεν το διάβασα όλο... Δε με ενθουσίασε σίγουρα, είναι αρκετά φλύαρο και συμφωνώ απόλυτα με την travellinglight και τα όσα έγραψε. Το σίγουρο είναι ότι μου "άνοιξε την όρεξη" για βιβλία σχετικά με εκείνη την περίοδο...

I got it yesterday at the meetup in Volos. I've only read one more book from Fallaci and it was rally powerful, I hope this one turns out to be that good.
