I loved this popular book about a time travelling love affair. It keeps your brain ticking over whilst feeding your emotions.

My husband loved it too!

At times I felt like I was intruding on the most intimate and private moments in this couples life.
I felt so drawn into their world, their pain.... it hurt.
I didn't just cry at the end, I howled.
Am I pleased I read it ... I think I will be in time.

Sending on to next on list, can normy be taken off as she has also found herself on 2 rings/ rays.
Thanks so much.

Just finished this book, what a fantastic read!

Such a tender, intimate love story which had me reaching for a tissue at several points. At first I really thought I would have to suspend my disbelief while reading it, with regard to the time-travel element of the plot, but I was actually drawn into Henry's amazing world very rapidly.

Thanks for sharing skribble!

An amazing book. The concept behind it is so unusual that it's very hard to describe the book to someone who hasn't read it. I'm going to get a copy for my permanent collection. I was absorbed by it and really wanted to know what was going to happen to the characters

I'm hoping to start this book today, but I'll probably be attempting to read it alongside The Poetry Of Robert Frost.

I'll see how it goes..

I'm passed half-way with this book, which is quite fast reading for me, so that should be an indication of how much I'm enjoying it.

I'll be back to do a proper JE soon (probably by editing this one) but this is just to say I'll be forwarding this book on, probably some time next week now.

Sherlockfan has asked me if she can have this book after me. I've no reason not to let her, but just out of politeness on my part (at least that's how I see it) I wanted to double-check with skribble if it was ok, especially as sherlockfan is in New Zealand.

However, I've been unable to contact skribble, so I'm going to send it off to sherlockfan anyway, and hope that's ok.

Posted today.

After some less than desirable adventures while in Brittany I am now back in NZ and catching up on the mail that arrived while I was away. Can't be sure what day this book arrived here but it is certainly here now.
I'm really grateful to Spike1972 for arranging that I have it - I've been trying for ages to get a copy to read and this has arrived at a time when I am taking things very quietly so should be able to get on to it almost immediately.
Are there any ideas about who should have it after me or shall I try in on the NZ circuit?
Many thanks Spike1972 and for the postcard of your lovely country.

I have so enjoyed this book. It did take a while to get used to the unusual concept of time travelling but once I learned to suspend belief on that aspect I found the whole relationship between Clare and Henry full of wonderment.
I agree with Jeanmicheler about the difficulty of describing the book but fortunately the length of time it was on the best seller lists means that most people one mentions it to show an interest right away.
I've lent it temporarily to a close friend who is a fast reader and once it comes back to me I'll see if I can start it on rounds in NZ unless any previous reader has a better suggestion.

I took this book to a Wellington BookCrossers Meet-up last night where I believe someone collected the book.

Happy travelling lovely book.

I picked this book up at our meet up last night. It will probably take me a while to get to it because I am moving this friday, have hundreds (well, it seems that way!!) of assignments due in the next couple of weeks, and I´m currently reading another book. However, I do have holidays again in a two and a half weeks so will (hopefully) get some reading done then, and will be able to pass it along/release it!! I have been looking for this one for ages, so will definately read it!!

I LOVED this book!!!!!!!! It took a couple of chapters to hook me, but by then I was totally and absolutely hooked. It had a great plot, great characters, and was written superbly!!! I cried for the final two chapters, but just had to keep reading. This is one of the best books I have read, and I think I may put the book onto my birthday/christmas wish list, just so I can re-read it anytime I want!! I will probably send this book to a friend in England, cos I think he would enjoy it!
