Journal Entry 1 by TracyR on Wednesday, August 24, 2005
from back cover:- Jojo, a high-flying literary agent on the up, has just made a very bad career move, she's jumped into bed with her married boss.... Jojo's sweet-natured client Lily's first novel is a roaring success. She and lover Anton celebrate by spending the advance for her second book. Then she gets writer's block.... Gemma used to be Lily's best friend - until Lily stole Anton. Now she's writing her own story - painfully and hilariously - when super-shark agent Jojo stumbles across it.... When their fortunes become entangled, it seems too much to hope that they'll all find a happy ending. But maybe they'll each discover that there's more than one side to every story....

I loved this book. I found it easy to read and on occasions had me laughing out loud. My mother is now in possession of this book and i look forward to hearing her opinion before i decide what to do with it.

Book returned to me safe and sound. My mum actually loved this book although she initially found it difficult to get into. Once she was hooked though, she couldn't put the book down and found it entertaining reading.

Another bookring lands on the doorstep and I am loving it! I am just finishing Blackberry wine and have 'Waiting' waiting to be read - I am a fairly fast reader though so it will not be long before I start this one. I will have to be quick as I thoroughly enjoy Marian Keyes and am dying to get to it. I hope this ring turns out to be a great success for you Tracy *hugs*

Journal Entry 11 by KarinAlyssa on Friday, April 07, 2006
At first, I wasn't sure about the three stories as they didn't seem to mix well especially in the middle. Nevertheless, I discovered that I cared more for Gemma and Jojo than for Lily and that's probably because her life is at eons of mine. As usual for Marian Keyes, this was a funny book and this was perfect to read between my studying for my finals which are starting next week yikes ! Thanks for sharing Tracy ! I will pop the book in the mail late next week for SummerBreeze.

Journal Entry 12 by KarinAlyssa on Sunday, June 11, 2006
I think the book is lost in the mail. It was mailed around Easter time to SummerBreeze and it should take between 4 and 10 days to arrive in her mailbox. I'm really sorry but Canada Post has a way to loose packages especially those going to somewhere else within the country. I will look for a replacement copy and let you know when I find one. Sorry Tracy, especially since it was your first ring. I'll let the status travelling who knows, it might arrive in BC soon !
