This is a great read - I've just finished it.
Set during the Cold War and Space Race era of the 1940's & 50's with some great twists and turns along the way.

Caught at the Nottingham meetup yesterday! I've read a few books by Ken Follett - no high literature by all means, but pleasant entertainment and the right type of book for a long trip or for the beach. As I cannot see myself lying on a beach in the near future (my visits home won't be happening in the summer months!) I will reserve this book for one of my trips up and down the country, and release it once finished at destination.
