If you loved this book, you should read Me Talk Pretty One Day. I was laughing out loud non-stop when I read that. This book was not as funny to me as that one was.
It is now making its way to Mrsordonez, mingling in the mail with holiday cards and packages!

Well, I have to say, I think I expected a bit more from Sedaris. I've heard him hyped up quite a bit, and this was my first experience with his work. I'll say it was a worthy read, and comment more later (have to get to bed 'cuz Santa is coming). I'll mail after returning from holiday.

received today- this will be my 2nd Sedaris book read- read Me Talk Pretty and really enjoyed it- so much I laughed out loud at times. looking forward to reading this and will start it soon so I may pass on to the next participant- thanks for offering.

I enjoyed the essays in the book--often laugh-out-loud funny. I also thought "Me Talk Pretty One Day" was a little more humorous, less biting and cynical--maybe I have just had too much of this author in a very short time!

The book is now packaged up and ready to be mailed in the next few days...

Interesting enough but was a tadge disappointed by it to be honest. Felt it was missing something and didn't make me laugh as much as I thought it would from the hype.
