This book was somewhat difficult to read and it took me almost 5 weeks to complete, even though it wasn't much more than 200 pages. Maybe the translation wasn't very good?? Also, the author had an almost obsessive fixation on peoples' mouths. Very strange!?!

Anyhow, We is the original dystopia and it has an appropriately bleak ending. I was very satisfied with the conclusion of the story and all the characters actions throughout. Reading it, you can definitely tell it was written in 1922, but the themes are still pertinent and futuristic. Overall, I'm glad I stuck it out and completed it. I'll be making it available, but don't think it's appropriate for a wild release.

I did count this as part of the 5 Books, 5 Countries, 5 Continents. challenge.
