This is a humorous book and that's why it is not so easy to understand as more serious children's books. The author is playing with words and ideas behind the words but she has a mission in her story. Sophie seems to understand that in the end.

This was not an easy task, but some how I managed to read the book. Don't know how much I misunderstood. Unfortunately I've forgotten most of the French I once new.
