Elizabeth and After
4 journalers for this copy...
One of three books purchased the day after my return from summer holidays. What can I say? It was on sale! Plus, theoretically, I have room on my shelf because I released close to thirty books while away. The jacket blurbs suggest this will be a charming read. Looking forward to it.
I enjoyed reading this book a lot and was sorry to have it end. Oddly I was even surprised to have it end. I was disappointed in the ending. The letter from Adam did not make a lot of sense to me, at least, from the perspective of it being the end of the story. But, almost all of the characters were very real and human and as such I had a lot of affection for them.
Elizabeth begins her journey today. She will travel with fellow bookcrosser, Day-zee on her Dryden Book releasing adventure. Have a good trip Elizabeth! You too Day-zee!

Journal Entry 6 by suspicionofcorg at Vancouver, British Columbia Canada on Saturday, January 29, 2011
Caught this book in Vancouver, but have taken it home to Whitehorse. It's next on the bedside table, to be read.
Good book. Love Canadian authors. Wonder what happened to this author - he died in 1999, same year as this book won the Governor Genetal Award in Canada.
