I had so much fun reading that Far Sides, I will definetely look other Farsides because of you, Reader1107. They are quite funny and you can pick the book when you feel like it or are taking a break from too much studying ! The only reason I did not give this book a 10 is that I love to read stories and at times, I would have love to have a whole story instead of a single square.
Thanks for sharing Linda, it will continue its travel to England towards Cable today.
This came in the post today, christmas eve of all times. It's been like an early christmas prezzie :-) looking forward to reading this book very much.
Just like the other Far Side books i've read, this one was great. I started laughing as soon as I opened the first page and didn't stop until i'd finished the book. Brilliant.
recieved it in my mailbox a week ago, on saturday morning just as i was going to the post office to fetch a package. This book way improved the 15 mn or so i had to wait... and the whole line was wondering what was making laugh out loud. Gary Larson really is the best !!!
i'll send it to kanapoutz this week...
Got the book today! Thanks!
I think it's the earliest Far Side book that I've read (I've alos found out what Gary larson looks like...), and it's quite different from the latest ones. I liked the underwater monster things in this one.
As usual, there were 2 or 3 squares that I did not get at all, but some of them were hilarious.
Just love the Far Side!
Sending to Inngrid as soon as I get her adress.

Sorry for making this late JE. I read it right when received, though.
I found it quite entertaining, but not exhilarating. I probably do not have this kind of humor. But I would enjoy reading the other volumes.
Thank you for letting me know about The Far Side!
I'll send it or hand it to Bacicoline as soon as possible.
thank you inngrid !
I'm looking forward to reading it...
Merci bacicoline, received it today!
Actually I already knew most of those, but still they made me ROTFLBIC, that's what counts. :-D
Thanks reader1107 for this ray. It will travel to Markuzz as soon as I get his address.
Now travelling to the Far Side of Baden-Wurttemberg to Markuzz. ;-)
Received today and already read. Thanks!
Will move on as soon I get the address of mobicat...
per post erhalten, vielen dank.

Arja on Sunday, May 14, 2006
yippee, my favourite silly cartoons. will read it and forward it to the next reader. thank you for crossing this book, FamFatale!
I have received the book from Arja. I don't now wether Diorissimo did not want to participate, or it was just because Arja had to drop off a lot of book for me anyway. I will ask Diorissimo.
I liked especially the arc of Noach jokes and the cow ringing the doorbell. I'm always tempted to ring the doorbell when I see a cat lying in the sun next to the door of a house.
Some were funny, some were not, of I didn't understand the humor that's also possible. An english native speaker was here this weekend and had a lot of pleasure reading it, so it didn't come up to here for nothing !
Without any reaction from Gerbie7, I got the adres another way and I am sending the book today. I hope it comes allright.
Got it in the mail yesterday, will read it soon.
Gary Larson – The far side (06-035)
I guess this was the first Far Side collection, the flat a5 version still. I’ve read quite a few of them by now and have enjoyed every single one of them. A fairly young Larson is visible on the back of the book. Over the years his cartoons have become legendary, read all around the world.
This first collection shows the beginning of the series. The typical humour starts developing. Not every single cartoon is great, which has happened in later books. But that’s why this book is even nicer. You can see an author develop his own style. Great book.

Author: Gary Larson
