I checked this book out at the library and read it three times in the three weeks I had it. I loved it so much that I went out and bought it. I've read it repeatedly and lent it to numerous friends.

The vampires are scary, the world is intriguing, the heroine is sympathetic but strong, the peripheral characters are interesting- if a little underdeveloped.
Oh yeah, the chemistry between Sunshine and Constantine is hot hot hot!

I'm not willing to mail it, but I'm open to lending it out if you're local.

I'm such a sucker... I found another copy of this book at Bookcloseouts.com (and yes, I clicked over through the support bc link) so I can make this one availible and keep the other as my PC.

3/5/07 Off to Finland!

Yay, the book arrived today, just when I was giving up hope! For some reason I thought this book had been mailed from the UK (don't ask me why ;) ), so I was really worried. Once I had a book take 3 months to arrive from the US, although normally it doesn't take more than a month.

I loved this book! I'll write more later when I have the time.

I sent Sunshine to concertina8 in Austria today.

Picked this up from the post office today. I should be able to start reading it next week.

Usually, I am not one for vampire stories but the idea for this one sounded intriguing to me. And I was not disappointed. This is not your standard brand of bloodsucker lore but thanks to the introduction of other creatures of myth like "weres" and "magic handlers" this offers an interesting setting.

Really enjoyed it.

Wow, I loved this! It was part fantasy, part thriller, part vampire story, part romance! The author's style was great, original and full of humor. There were some open loops at the end, so I hope there are going to be sequels or at least other stories set in this book's universe. Thanks so much for sharing this!

Absolutely Fantastic!! Took a little while to get into it... but quickly became enthralled by the story... will have to try and find more of her books!!
