One for the ladies I think. I might give it a go before releasing, but I somehow doubt it.

I have to admit that this book really surprised me. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it at all, but quickly found myself totally immersed in it. It's beautifully written - the descriptions of the chocolates made my mouth water - and the plot moves along at a steady enough pace to keep one more than interested. The characters are well fleshed out and very believable.
Not just, as I had suspected, 'one for the ladies', but a thoroughly enjoyable read.

On it's way to bluecat07 in Germany as a RABCK.
The book arrived today. What a nice start of the weekend! Thanks a lot for the RABCK, Mr Mustard! I have heard a lot about Joanne Harris and the film Chocolat as well, so I am looking forward to reading this!
Finally gotten around to reading this! A new appartment without phone and internet helps!:-) I really enjoyed this story, liked Vianne and Anouk and their ways. I have "The Lollipop Shoes" on my TBR as well and now look forward to reading this soon...

Thank you! I think I have read it before but would like to read again before I read 'The Lollipop Shoes'.
