The boy journeyed to me in the midst of a tiresome day of missing doctor's appointments and worrying about a repetitive strain injury (the oncology waiting room becomes the drop-in clinic after 6PM). Wondered who misplaced the book, then saw it was liberated. Made me feel the same. More upon reading.
I forgot to mention when I released the book that this is one of my favorites. I've read it several times over the years. Innes' books are funniest if you have something of a classical education but they're wonderful even if you don't. Also try _From London Far_, _The Paper Thunderbolt_, and _The Daffodil Affair_.
The book was left for the next person on a train from London Kings Cross to Cambridge, UK.
Since I was without computer access abroad, I gave this to a pal (lomofreak) to release and note...I really enjoyed the book. Very sharp and witty.
Journal entry only to set the status--as far as I know it's traveling.
