A Thousand Days in Tuscany: A Bittersweet Romance
4 journalers for this copy...
Two hundred villagers, ancient olive groves and hot Etruscan springs. On a forgotten patch of Earth where Tuscnay, Umbria and Lazio collide, Marlena de Blasi settles with her Venetian husband, Fernando, in search of a new life. The routines they establish are not that different from those of villagers centuries earlier. They wake at dwn to harvest grapes, gather chestnuts, forage for wild mushrooms. And they climb trees in the cold of December to pick olives, one by one.

UPDATE
This book and its partner seem to be lost in action, I send them twice to Daemonwolf ... first time returned with a label saying " not collected " re-sent but have failed to arrive.
Luckily I have the proof of postage ( needs to go dig it out ) so will contact the P.O and see what needs to be done now.

This book appears to be lost in the mail so I am sending it to LostBookIsland where I hope it will be happy.
This book has washed ashore at the Lost Book Island after not being heard from for many months. This new arrival will be shown to a room and be allowed a bit of rest before being introduced to the many fun things to do here at the island.
All around there are books sipping cool drinks under shady palms while other books participate in a wide variety of beach sports. There is plenty of sand, surf and sun here for all of the lost and wayward books to enjoy.
It is hoped that very soon a new journal entry will come to rescue this book from the island and send it back out into the BookCrossing world so that it may continue on its journey. It is hoped that the new journal entry will tell all the interested parties where this book has been this long time and where it will be traveling to next.
