Journal Entry 3 by tobysrus from Cambridge, Massachusetts USA on Wednesday, August 17, 2005
Sorry for journaling this book so late. I retrieve my mail from a UPS Store. Yesterday I finally asked them whether there was a package for me behind the counter because something had been shipped 3 weeks earlier to me that I was expecting. They went to look and low and behold there was a package waiting for me. Like I said, sorry for the late journaling. I am a die hard Boston Red Sox fan and cannot wait to read this book! Sorry, I may eventually add this to my permanent collection! Many thanks!!

Journal Entry 4 by tobysrus from Cambridge, Massachusetts USA on Tuesday, October 11, 2005
As it turns out I found another copy at Goodwill that I have decided to keep in my permanent collection. Accordingly, I plan to release this one at tonight's Bookcrossing Meet-up for some other diehard Red Sox fan to enjoy! Especially important to relive last year since we are out of the 2005 MLB playoffs after this weekend! Boo hoo.

Journal Entry 6 by amyem from Cambridge, Massachusetts USA on Thursday, October 13, 2005
I picked this up at the Meetup (Oct05). Of course, it would have been suitable about a year ago but there you are. I still have articles on the playoffs from the Globe that I haven't read so perhap this will be a better choice.

I started to read this last night (during the game!) and realized that I don't really want to read it afterall. It will be sent to fellow BookCrosser silviobenito in the next week or so.

Journal Entry 8 by amyem from Cambridge, Massachusetts USA on Tuesday, May 09, 2006
I said I wasn't going to read this and then I was home sick and ended up reading it while half watching the weekend series versus the O's. It was fun to read, though it felt a little surreal to have a game on and read about others. I had never read Stephen King before and I actually appreciated his writing style. O'Nan did less for me; he was more about the details of the games and also into catching balls and getting autographs at BP, which is really a foreign mindset to me. At the start, I just couldn't face reading the details of 162 games plus the post-season but it picked up steam after Opening Day and got more of the feel of being a Red Sox fan and how you can go up and down so much with the team's fortunes. Worth reading after all. Enjoy, silviobenito!
