A wonderful, enchanting story, one of my favorite Pratchetts!

This is my 2 years BC anniversary BookRing, together with the second book with Tiffany Aching, A Hat Full of Sky. I love both of the books *very* much, so I will only accept 10 people with a reasonable amount of books on the shelf.

das buch habe ich heute sicher von der post abgeholt und werde jetzt mal schauen wie gut denn meine englischkenntnisse noch sind :)

so nun habe ich meinen ersten pratchett gelesen und das auch noch auf englisch :) bin sehr froh, dass ich nun noch ein anderes buch von pratchett habe und gleich weiterlesen kann, bin also wie so viele andere von pratchett angesteckt worden :)

The books arrived savely today. I have just finished the new discworld novel "Thud!", so I already know a little "Discworld-english". ;-)
I already read The Wee Free Men in German and I'm looking forward to read more about Tiffany and these blue men.
I hope it won't take me too long to read the two books, but at the moment there's pretty much school things to do...

Well, I've finished now, and I thought I'd need more time, but I couldn't stop reading about Tiffany, Rob Anybody, Daft Wullie and all the others.
It also helped a little that I knew this book already in German.
Surely this is a true Pratchett, although I still like the books about, e. g., the Nightwatch better.

The Book arrived safely in northern Germany.
Due to a weeks illnes it had to spend a week in the "packstation", but now my head should be free enough again to spend loads of time in the discworld-sphere. I look forward ro it and try to speed up.

Beide Bücher sind gut angekommen. Kann aber etwas länger dauern, bis sie weiterreisen, mein Englisch ist etwas eingeschlafen... Aber ich geb mien Bestes

Auch wenn ich jetzt ein ganzes englisches Buch wirklich und wahrhaftig durchgelesen habe, kann ich mich trotzdem nicht dazu aufraffen, in englisch darüber etwas zu schreiben. Ist manchmal ein bißchen schwierig gewesen, den Nac Mac Feeglen zu folgen, aber man hat ja schließlich dieses Krötenvieh als groben Übersetzter gehabt. Aber ich muß ehrlich sagen, ein deutscher Terry-Pratchett kam mir manchmal schwieriger als dieser vor. Alles in allem eine sehr schölne Geschichte, ich bin schon auf den zweiten Teil gespannt!

Die beiden Bücher ( The Wee free man and a hat full of sky) sind heute gut bei mir angekommen und machen gemeinsam noch nen kleinen Urlaub auf meinem Bookshelf.

wegen Prüfungsstress kam ich bisher leider nicht zum Lesen. Wäre es okay wenn ich die beiden Bücher noch zwei Wochen behalte?

Das waren mal wieder zwei tolle Bücher von Terry Prachtett .... ich bin immer wieder begeistert von seinen Geschichten.

ich bin total begeistert - einfach bezaubernd! Nun, ich muß vielleicht dazu sagen, daß ich seit vielen Jahren Schafe liebe, und die Idee, ein Buch über Schafkrankheiten als Zauberer-LEHRbuch zu betrachten, gefällt mir schon sehr. Aber es gibt noch viel mehr interessante Einfälle...
