"Is it possible to be too much in love ? After ten years in London, Martin Blackman returns to Adelaide with his wife and fellow psychiatrist Lucy, blissfully happy. But then he introduces her to his old friend Felix, once a brilliant surgeon, now barred from practising and changed beyond recognition. In the complex triangle that develops, Martin must decide just how far he is prepared to go for Felix. So begins the darkest of journeys for all three of them..."
" Confronting, unpredicatable, richly sexual, Three Dog Night is a lyrical page-turner from one of Australia's finest storytellers."

Received back from MJH, on to next participant as soon as I get their address.
I forgot to journal this when I received it in the post from bookworm-BNE, but have read it now and will send it onto the next person when I get their address.
I found the main characters frustrating at times, particularly Martin, who really got sucked in by Felix and Lucy. Quite a sad story really, but with some beautiful descriptions of the Australian outback and some small insights into some aspects of aboriginal culture.

Thanks KK -- I neglected to journal this on receipt too (it arrived just before Christmas, I think), but it is safe with me. I'm the last on the ray so I guess it just goes in the general Mt TBR pile rather than the list of rings, but I'm keen so I'll probably read it once the avalanche of rings settles down :-)
Spotted this on bookfairy65's wishlist, so if she still wants it by the time I get around to reading it [yes I know that might be a while...], that's where it will go next. Just a reminder-to-self :-)
